Winter Pasture

The pasture on a cold winter day. I love the light that is created with snow.

This painting received Second Place in the National Represensational Art Show 2025, at the Heartland Art Club in Kirkwood MO.

" The depth of this watercolor is stunning, achieved through the juxtaposition of soft, muted and flowing shapes in the far background versus the more solid, saturated forms in the foreground. The viewer is invited to move through this space by the inclusion of the tracks in the snow. The application overall is extremely confident. Not a single stroke feels hesitant or haphazard." - judge Patrick Saunders
